The Storm that never happened  Sunday 9th    December was supposed to be the day of the worst storm ever experienced.  Dover harbour was closed down to await the gale that never came.  Where did it go and why did it vanish?  In its place was calm, blue skies and sunshine.  Did the Christians pray about this?  What other conclusion can we come to?
Force 12 gales would have meant mountainous seas with no ship  able to stay afloat and even inland trees and buildings would have come  crashing down.  It was expected to be a national disaster but it didn't   happen.  What about ice storms in the Midwest of America?  They have never seen anything like it with more of the same forecast.  That has been hailed as a national emergency.  Are we really looking at the end times?  We have been told that the ice  glaciers in Greenland are melting at an  alarming rate         decreasing by 3 miles in only 10 years.  Every summer the surface ice melts sending rivers of clear water into holes in the ice.  All this will     result in sea level rising to flood coastal towns and villages.
So is this the time of disaster Jesus said would come before His return?   If this is so, then our time to evangelise is short.  The Bible says that people's hearts will get hard and they will curse god rather than turn to Him.  Before he returns  when the time for evangelism is over, we will be keeping a very low profile.  In southern Germany the credit card is now replaced with finger prints.  Next it will be the bar code on the hand!

A Prayer   Lord, as You forgave those   people who did not understand what they were really doing, give me a heart to   forgive those who have hurt and offended me.
Father, forgive me when I  ignore You and do not serve You as I should.  Father, forgive those who make my life difficult and help me to show Your love to those who don't understand who You are.  Help me to love  others as You so clearly demonstrated on the cross.  In the
name of Jesus, Amen
